Abbey Bike Tools Dual Sided Bottom Bracket Socket Tool

Machined rather than forged, for absolute precision, the Abbey Bike Tools Dual Sided Bottom Bracket Socket Tool is designed to be compatible with both Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra bottom brackets, depending on which side you use.

Both sides have an inner nub in the centre, which is the same size as the crank spindle, giving a second point of contact that keeps the tool perfectly centred and prevents it from slipping off and marring or gouging your BB cup. You can trust it, no matter how much loosening pressure is needed, and when a 3/8” torque wrench isn't required, there are finger splines to make it easier to hand thread the socket tool.

Lightweight, compact and anodised a beautiful green, the tool has clear markings to ensure you'll know which side to use. It fits perfectly and achieves tight tolerances with the new Shimano DA-9000/XTR-BB93 bottom bracket, as well as with the 6800 Ultegra and 5800 105 11 speed groups (BBR-60), doing its job flawlessly with no shims needed – though you'll need the BB Common for 10 speed Shimano BBs.
